Request Our Plugins to Extend and Customize INTViewer
Any of our free or commercial plugins can be used to add to or extend INTViewer’s functionality. All optional INTViewer plugins can be installed directly from the application using the Tools → Download Plugins menu.
Commercial Plugins
Mineral Rights
Effortlessly manage exclusion zones in seismic data to maintain compliance with license restrictions. Zones are defined as shape-files that contain information about the exclusion type and depth range. The plugin allows the user to zero-out areas where company has no rights to the data, and works for both volumetric and pre-stack data.
Community-developed plugins are provided free of charge. Their implementations are open source, and you can use them as templates or they can be modified to suit your needs.
Working in the Cloud
INTGeoServer
Access your data from the cloud as if it were local.
DataLake
New in INTViewer 2018! Export seismic and well metadata for indexing in your data lake.
Remote Map
The Remote Map plugin connects INTViewer to running Web Map Service (WMS) to stream georeferenced map images and associated road, boundary and culture data. (Note: An online connection is required to use this plugin.)
Collaboration/Presentation
Slideshow
New in INTViewer 5.2! Allows interactive browsing of seismic, session, or Python files in the form of a slideshow. While INTViewer makes it easy to take screenshots to integrate into a presentation, a slideshow provides a live experience to your team and/or your customers while keeping a familiar presentation format.
Comments
New in INTViewer 5.2! A simple plugin to highlight features of seismic datasets with annotations. You can elect to annotate entire datasets, seismic slices or specific traces. Comments are automatically stored in session files. Simply share these session files to share your comments.
Lattice Decimation
An automated process that decimates a 3D SEGY seismic volume by specifying a step value in each dimension. This process can reduce the size of a 3D volume by as much as 80%, while still providing full resolution slices. For example, with a step of 10 for the inline sections, only every tenth inline section is stored. Viewing any of the stored inline sections are identical to the original (full resolution).
Processing
Saddleback Attributes::Workbench™
The Starter Package provides a library of 24 attributes developed in partnership with Saddleback Geosolutions. Single trace attributes designed using correct transforms and pre-conditioning of the trace.
Better Hilbert transform
Signed Instantaneous Bandwidth has spikes that change sign just like Instantaneous Frequency, and at approximately the same points
Instantaneous wrapper phase calculated correctly
Additional attributes packages are available as INTViewer plugins.
Seismic Workbench
Automates the processing of seismic datasets through the creation and execution of workflows utilizing external libraries (such as CWP/SU, FreeUSP, etc.). Trace processors, seismic operators or external utilities can be put together into a workflow. Each step has customizable options. Workflows can also be previewed, saved and loaded from a .job file. Command line options allow running the same .job file for all seismic files in a given directory.
Python Filter
This trace processor allows a quick prototyping of processing algorithms using the Python language. To create a trace processor, just enter simple Python code to manipulate each array of sample values. The processing results can be witnessed instantly as only visible traces will be processed.
Analysis
Horizon Attribute Extraction
Provides analysis, visualization and statistics for properties along a single horizon, or in windows defined by or between horizons.
Extractions can be created at stratal offsets
Windowed statistics are computable
Horizons can be re-snapped
Property measurements can be at static offsets, or snapped to picking features
Velocity Measurement
This plugin allows a user to dynamically computer and display velocities on a seismic section. Control points are displayed on both extremities of the hyperbola and at the peak point. The user can move the peak point control point to a new location or can drag the mouse with the right button to update the hyperbola aperture. Both linear and hyperbolic velocities on a seismic reading are supported.
Angle Field
Calculates on-the-fly angle field based on seismic gather and velocity model. The velocity can be specified as an ASCII file or a SEG-Y seismic dataset.
Signal-to-Noise Analysis
Signal-to-Noise Analysis package is a tool to quantify the sign to noise ratio within a user selected window. The plugin provides the auto-correlation, cross-correlation, and signal/noise, as well as some graph displays. Signal-to-Noise Analysis usually performed on field/shot records but may be performed on gathers or stacked data.
Data
ZGY Data
Provides reading capabilities for the Schlumberger ZGY/Petrel seismic format.
Microseismic
New in INTViewer 5.2! A set of plugins to visualize microseismic events in 2D and 3D windows. Analysis tools such as cross-plots, histograms and timeline/playback are also available.
Reservoir
A plugin to visualize reservoir data in 3D windows.
Integration
Space Mouse Adapter
Improves the navigation within 3D windows by leveraging the 3DConnection mouse. This plugin is only available for Windows computers and requires the local installation of the 3DConnection driver.
SSH
New in INTViewer 5.2! This plugin connects to the Python terminal using an SSH client. Windows users typically use Putty as SSH client.
All optional INTViewer plugins can be installed directly from the application using the Tools → Download Plugins menu.
